It gives us great pleasure to announce to you that on Friday,
April 25, 2014 at 6:30 p.m., the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral of New
England will be holding a concert of modern Greek music featuring young
musicians for the first time in its history. This concert is dedicated to the
30th anniversary of His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios' election to shepherd
the flock of New England.
Members of the youth and young adults interested in
participating in this concert should attend the audition, which will be held in
the Grand Hall of the Annunciation Cathedral on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at 1
p.m., to choose the musicians who will participate in this concert, as well as
the practices leading up to the event, which will follow every Sunday at the
same time and place. Young people of all ages are free to participate in this
event, irrespective of whether or not they or their families are members of the
Cathedral. The songs will be performed under the direction of Prof. Panagiotis
Liaropoulos, a composer and faculty member at the Berklee College of Music. For
